I operate from the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to bring their authentic self and be met with compassion rather than criticism, empathy instead of judgment, and support in place of loneliness. I am committed to proving myself as a trustworthy person, in whose presence it is safe to bring all thoughts, feelings, and versions of yourself. I offer a warm and compassionate approach to therapy, rooted in clinical expertise and establishing a relationship that feels like letting out that breath you’ve been holding for too long. I am gifted in being comfortable sitting with people in their pain, wrestling together with life’s most challenging questions, speaking truth with gentle kindness, celebrating progress and being a soft landing for setbacks, seeing people’s strengths, and making people feel seen, heard, and understood.

I work with children (ages 5+), adolescents, and adults on a wide variety of presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, emotional regulation, life transitions, OCD, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, family and peer relationships, building coping skills, and self-compassion. I’m highly relational in my therapeutic approach and flexible in employing my skills in various therapies to meet the needs of each unique individual. Often I incorporate play therapy, art therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy with a focus on trauma-informed, person-centered, and compassionate care. Iā€™m fully licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. I see clients in person in Eagan, MN as well as virtually.
