These are trying times during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our lives are upset by the threat of the virus, job loss or reduced work hours, resulting financial worries, remote working, distance learning, and balancing working from home with childcare needs. We find that many of us are struggling with isolation from family and friends, depression, increased anxiety, and greater stress in our relationships.
Aurora Psychological Services is accepting new clients during this pandemic with our therapists using virtual teletherapy sessions to meet our client’s needs. We regret that we are not able to meet with clients in our physical offices at this time, but we have found that teletherapy is convenient and effective. We utilize a secure HIPPA-compliant and encrypted teletherapy platform to maintain your privacy during teletherapy session. Unfortunately, we are not able to arrange psychological testing appointments during this phase of the pandemic.
When we do open our offices to in-person appointments, Aurora Psychological Services is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our clients. To ensure that, we have developed the following Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have procedures in place regarding screening of staff and clients for Covid-19 symptoms, social distancing, mask wearing, and disinfection of the office environment.
